A visual ode to the festival of lights ✨🪔

Called as festival of lights, Diwali is an important festival in the Hindu traditions which celebrates the return of Lord Ram back home to Ayodhya with Goddess Sita and Lord Lakshman after spending 14 long years in exile after defeating the king of Lanka, Ravana.

It is one of my favourite festivals filled with joy, splendor and ✨shimmer✨

Colourful lights adorn every window wherever the eye can see and doors are guarded by pretty painted earthen lamps illuminating the gorgeous colourful rangolis. It is also filled with coming together of families and honoring the time spent with them.

Although the main days of the festival are now mostly over, I couldn't pass over the opportunity to create something for the ocassion so here's my take on it.
