Vernonia Everbloom

Meet Vernonia Everbloom! She belongs to a lesser noble family and their estate lies very close to the outskirts of Silvermoon city. She works as an instructor in the Academy of magic in the city and specialises in frost magic. There's also an ancient source of magic locked deep within her which she's still unaware of!

I originally started playing on her at the end of the burning crusade storyline as a blood elf on horde side but didn’t put much thought into writing any story for her. Things changed when I got exposed to the wonderful writers community that we have here! It’s been awhile since I have made anything for her (I think it was back in Dec 2022 that I practiced her portrait last time to test the settings of this iPad lol)

I love to name my characters based on botanical names of plants. So I made her hold her namesake. Her name Vernonia comes from a group (genus) of flowering plants called the same which you can see here! Of course there are many different species of this plant but I didn’t want to go with anything specific.
