Alexstrasza - The Lifebinder

Over the years, Alexstrasza has been an important figure within the Warcraft lore, not just limited to the game but also present within the short stories and novels. A clutchmate of Ysera, she is ancient and wise but not without her share of mistakes. She’s also the ‘mom’ figure everyone associates with since being the Aspect of Life, she governs over the natural balance of the World.

For the background, I felt that a fire would be appropriate. Not because a fire has the power to be the most powerful and destroy everything in its path, but because a fire is very important for renewal for any area. In many ecosystems, a fire is required for new life to start. Fire helps break down the complex nutrients into simple molecules that can be recycled back into nature. In many plants, seeds do not germinate unless treated by the heat from a fire!

With the recent expansion, the lifebinder got an amazing new design, courtesy of @natachanielsenart
It incorporates the red and gold, symbolic colours of her flight while enhancing the draconian elements of her armour, giving her a regal look.
